Krishna's Promise

The whole premise of any Lord Vishnu's avatar leela is built around a singular promise. Yada yada hi dharmasya glanirbhavati bharata
Abhythanamadharmasya tadatmanam srijamyaham, whenever there is decay of righteousness, O Bharta and unrighteousness are exalted, I shall myself come forth.
